Synopsis of STEINS;GATE

The protagonist of this game, Okabe Rintaro (voiced by Miyano Mamoru), is a college student suffering from severe chuunibyou. He calls himself the "Phoenix Academy Murderer" and he and his partners formed the "Future Invention Research Institute" in Akiha. Various weird inventions and investigations are carried out in a simple laboratory. On July 28, 2010, Okabe and his childhood sweetheart Mayuri (voiced by Hanazawa Kana) went to the science lecture hall together, where they met the talented girl Makise Kurisu (voiced by Imai Asami). Something unexpected happened. Okabe heard a scream in the corridor of the hall. He heard the sound and found Makise lying in a pool of blood. Okabe used a text message on his mobile phone to tell his friend Hashida Toru about the incident. This move turned the world upside down. The so-called "future prop" in the laboratory can really affect the course of the world, and Okabe has become a lonely observer since then. All of these are Steins;Gate's choices.
