Synopsis of TOUCH

Tatsuya Uesugi (voiced by Yuji Mitsuya) and Kazuya Uesugi (voiced by Keiichi Namba) are twin brothers who grew up together with Minami Asakura (voiced by Noriko Hidaka) who lives next door. All three of them entered Mingqing Academy. Although they are twins, Tatsuya and Kazuya have completely opposite personalities. Kazuya is the idol of the school girls and the ace of the baseball team; while Tatsuya is lazy and doesn't care about anything. In school, Kazuya and Konan are recognized as a perfect couple. Tatsuya felt that the two were a perfect match and secretly liked Konan in his heart. But Xiaonan always seems to be close to and caring about Tatsuya intentionally or unintentionally. Kazuya led the baseball team to the crucial battle to enter Koshien. On the night before the final, Kazuya expressed his love for Konan, but Konan did not respond. The next morning, everything was the same as before, but changes were coming soon. On the way to the gathering, Kazuya, who was involved in a car accident while rescuing a child, was unable to be saved and died on the way to victory. The agreement to take Xiaonan to Koshien was also terminated. In this sad summer, Tatsuya decided to pick up his brother's unfinished dream and join the baseball club.
