Synopsis of The Hurt Locker

After the US military invaded Iraq, Sergeant Williams James (Jeremy Renner) was transferred to the Army's Desperate Company Bomb Disposal Team to replace his colleagues who had just died in the mission in Baghdad. The other two members of the bomb disposal team, sergeant Sanborn (played by Anthony Mackie) in charge of liaison and special soldier Owen (played by Brian Geraghty) in charge of cover, are quite disgusted with the impulsive Williams. However, during the bomb disposal operation at the United Nations building, Williams, who resisted orders and forcibly defused the bomb, was praised by Colonel Reid (David Morse). During a warehouse bomb disposal mission, Williams believed that the little Iraqi boy used as a corpse bomb was Beckham (Christopher Sayegh), who he met in the military camp and sold pirated DVDs. The death of Little Beckham made Williams even crazier. He actually left the military camp and went into the city alone to investigate...
