Synopsis of Escape

In the 14th century, in the tenth year since the Black Death, the horrific and terminal disease killed half of Norway's population, leaving the country in depression and depleted of people. In order to make a living, some people took desperate risks and started killing, robbing and plundering. Xin'er (Isabel Christine Andreasen), a girl from a poor family, moved to another place with her family, but was attacked by bandits in the wilderness mountains. Her parents and younger brother were killed. Xin'er temporarily lost her life and followed the female bandit leader Daigma (Ingrid... Ingrid Bolsø Berdal) returns to camp. Daigma only hopes to find a sister-like playmate for his beloved daughter Fei Ji (Milla Olin), but even this cannot change Xin'er's fate of being enslaved, threatened and bullied. Knowing her situation clearly, Xin'er must find a way to escape. With Feiji's help, they fled out of the dense forest, followed closely by Daigma and his menacing ways...
