Synopsis of Falling Skies Season 3

Season 3 begins seven months after the 2nd Independence Regiment arrived in Charleston. During this period, Charleston was designated as the capital of the "New United States of America" and Tom Mason was elected as political leader (equivalent to the president). But most of his time is not spent in the office dealing with government affairs, or leading the army to tenaciously resist attacks by alien invaders. Compared with his predecessor Dr. Manchester, Tom is more aggressive and proactive in his attitude towards aliens. The Charleston government formed an uneasy alliance with the uprising "Raiders".
