Synopsis of Mrs Lowry & Son

His aggressive, control-freak mother Made one of the greatest British painters of the 20th century L.S. Lowry is one of the greatest British national painters of the 20th century. His unique painting style is deeply loved by the British people. However, his paintings were ridiculed by art critics in the early days as being made by children because his characters had large heads and thin bodies, like match sticks, and were called "match men". Although Lowry's mother, Ms. Elizabeth, has hindered his artistic career throughout his life, the reason why Lowry became an excellent painter must be attributed to his mother. After his father died, Lowry took care of his bedridden mother, waiting until she fell asleep before he started painting in the attic, doing it wholeheartedly and happily. The depressed and unhappy Elizabeth always talked about her dissatisfaction and disappointment with her son, but Lori spent his whole life pursuing how to make his mother happy. Both his life and his paintings yearned for his mother's approval. The film is directed by Adrian, former director of the famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Noble serves as the director and casts Best Actor Timothy Sibb to play the great painter, and Best Actress Vanessa Redgrave to play the controlling mother...
