Synopsis of Leap Year

City girl Anna (Amy Adams) and her boyfriend Jeremy (Adam Scott) have been in love for four years and jointly applied to buy a high-end residence in Boston's top luxury community. Anna originally thought that Jeremy was going to propose to her, but after being disappointed, she followed her father's suggestion and flew to Dublin, the capital of Ireland, planning to propose to Jeremy who was attending a medical conference in Dublin on February 29, a leap year, in accordance with Irish tradition. Unexpectedly, the plane encountered turbulence and made an emergency landing in Cardiff, Wales. Anna hires a boat from Cardiff to sail to the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland, and stays in the seaside hotel of local young man Declan (Matthew Goode) in a panic. Declan agreed to drive Anna to Dublin the next day, and the two disliked each other and argued constantly along the way. During the dispute, they encountered hilarious incidents such as car accidents, heavy rains, delays, pretending to be a couple and staying at a farmhouse, etc. However, the pair of enemies also got to know each other through constant friction, and their love gradually grew. February 29th finally arrives, who will Anna entrust her heart to?
