Synopsis of Weeds Season 1

Due to the unexpected death of her husband, single mother Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) became a single mother with two children under her knees. She had no skills and could not find a job to support her family of three. In order to maintain her family's livelihood, she chose to sell marijuana in the wealthy area where she lived. Although the profits were huge, the risks were also high. The eldest son Silas (Hunter Parrish) is in adolescence, rebellious and unruly. The younger son Shane (Alexander Gould) is a bit withdrawn and unsociable. The worst thing is that brother-in-law Andy (Justin Kirk) is always misbehaving at home.
