Synopsis of Devious Maids Season 1

Marisol (played by Ana Ortiz)'s son has been accused of murder. In order to clear her son's charge, Marisol needs a large amount of money. Rose (Dania Ramirez)'s husband died young, leaving a son to be raised on Rose's meager salary. Zola (played by Judy Reyes) is confident and charming. She and Valentina (played by Edurne Ganem) are both mother and daughter and colleagues. Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez) dreams of becoming a singer, but the pale reality daunts her. In the bustling and bustling affluent area of Beverly, four women shuttle and live here, but they have nothing to do with the glamor here. They are just a group of maids who serve the rich and clean up all kinds of messes for the rich. That’s all. A bizarre death links the fates of four women. In order to protect their common interests, they must keep a secret.
