Synopsis of Ways to Live Forever

12-year-old Sam (Robbie Kay) is a terminally ill patient with leukemia. After his third attack, he stopped going to school and was no longer hospitalized for chemotherapy. Live the last year of your life. Sam has a friend Felix (Alex Etel) who is also in terminal stage and can only use a wheelchair. The parents of the two boys specially hired tutors to tutor them and arrange daily learning activities. Teachers encourage them to keep diaries and make wish lists. Whether it's becoming a scientist, watching the first adult horror movie, kissing a girl, or flying on a spaceship... Sam and Felix are not afraid of illness and realize each of them, and at the same time, they explore the problems of life and death from their own perspectives. Although their life journey is short, it is extremely exciting and gorgeous. "I don't want you to be sad for me, because - if you feel sad every time you think of me, how are you going to remember me well?" This film is adapted from the children's novel of the same name by British female writer Sally Nichols.
