Synopsis of Cool Runnings

Plot: The first part of the film focuses on how four black athletes overcome all difficulties and take the first step in the Winter Olympics, while the second half is the usual inspirational mode, for the Jamaican athletes who have never tried to go to minus 25 degrees Celsius. Said that they not only have to face various unfavorable conditions such as weather, geography, and people, but also endure the ridicule and contempt of domestic and foreign audiences; and how the audience, with their strong will, awakens the spirit of athletes to move forward bravely towards their goals. Three Jamaican track and field athletes unfortunately stumbled and fell at the same time during the Olympic trials, and the dreams of the other three came to nothing. However, one of them, Di Li, was ambitious and decided to participate in an unprecedented bobsled competition. He asked his cheerful and funny friend Xinga to help. The down-and-out former champion Airong served as the coach to form the first bobsled team in Jamaica. The film has quite a lot of comedy elements.
