Synopsis of The Clique

Girl Claire Lyons (played by Ellen Marlow) moved to West Chester from Orlando with her parents. Since they have not yet found a suitable residence, the Lyons family temporarily lives in the home of their friend William Bullock (played by David Chisum). Bullock's daughter Macy (Elizabeth McLaughlin) is pampered and has a flamboyant personality. The Oakett Private Girls' High School she attends is a school that gathers noble and charming girls. In her eyes, Claire, with her simple clothes and simple personality, is like an ugly duckling. Different identities and growth environments make it impossible to establish an equal friendship between the two girls. Macy and her cronies tried every means to punish Claire in school, and Claire, driven by vanity, devoted herself to making friends with these noble ladies. In the process, they each lost themselves... This film is adapted from the first best-selling young girl novel of the same name by American writer Lisi Harrison.
