Synopsis of Black Beauty

The film was written and directed by Ashley Avis, and the story is based on the best-selling novel of the same name written by Anna Sewell in 1877. The original novel is expressed in the first person from the perspective of the "Black Horse" and depicts an autobiographical memoir belonging to the "Black Horse". The film will focus on the deep emotional bond between 17-year-old girl Joe (played by Foy) and the "Black Horse" (voiced by Winslet), who helped Joe overcome the trauma of his parents' death.
