Synopsis of Death and Glory in Changde
In 1943, in order to save the fate of inevitable defeat, the Japanese invaders invaded Changde, a strategic military town in northwestern Hunan. The 57th Division of the 74th Army of the Nationalist Army stationed locally was ordered to do so.
