Synopsis of Dances with Wolves

Lieutenant Dunbar (Kevin Costner) played a great role in the civil war. In order to reward him, the government gave him the privilege of choosing his residence. Dunbar longed for a new life, so he chose Sekwick, a remote western outpost. A large number of Sioux Indians lived here. At first, the Sioux resisted his arrival. When Dunbar took the initiative to get closer to and understand their lives, and rescued a white girl who had grown up in the Sioux, the relationship between the Sioux and him began to warm up.
