Synopsis of A Woman of Paris: A Drama of Fate
The young French girl Mary (Edna Purviance) fell in love with a young man named John (Carl Miller), but this relationship was opposed by their families. So John and Mary made an appointment to elope to Paris. However, on the night of the appointment, John's father died unfortunately, and John was unable to keep the appointment. Mary thought John had changed his mind and went to Paris alone in grief and pain. A few years later, Mary became the underground lover of the tycoon Pierre (Adolphe Menjou), and lived a life of drunkenness and dreams. One day, she unexpectedly met John again on the street.
