Synopsis of The Scorpion King: Rise of a Warrior
In the ancient country of Akkad in the Mesopotamia, the Black Scorpion warriors were the most elite warriors of the king. Asha is the leader of the black scorpions. In order to protect his 13-year-old son Masayas (played by Michael Copon), Asha offended General Sargon. Sargon, who mastered the dark magic, drove the poisonous scorpion to kill Asha. Masayas joined the ranks of the Black Scorpions with the determination to avenge his father. Six years later, Masayas, who became the leader of the Black Scorpions, returned to his hometown. What awaited him was his enemy Sargon to replace the old king as the king. In order to test Masayas's loyalty, Sargon ordered him to kill his own brother. Masayas rose up to resist, but was ultimately defeated by Sargon's magic and escaped from Akkad. Mathayas's childhood friend Laila (played by Karen Shenaz David) follows him on the road. The two go to Egypt to find the weapon of God that can crack Sargon. What they have to face is the man-eating monster Minotaur and the unhuman beings. The underworld that can be explored...
