Synopsis of Painted Faces

Xiaolong (played by Zhang Wenlong) was born in a poor family. His mother was unable to raise him, so he was sent to a drama school to learn skills from Yu Zhanyuan (played by Sammo Hung). In school, Xiaolong met senior fellow students such as Sanmao (played by Zhong Jinren) and Abiao (played by Huang Jianwei), and they formed a very deep friendship with each other. The school has strict rules and regulations. Sanmao, Xiaolong and others have suffered a lot, but they still love this career.
