Synopsis of Carolina Moon

Tory (Clair Forlani) returns to Progress Town, her hometown, planning to face all of her past and drive out the demons in her heart. Having had the supernatural ability to see into other people's minds since she was a child, Tory's life has never been easy. Her father always beat her up for telling her what she saw with her powers, and her mother's cowardice makes her feel chilled. Her best friend is Hope. On August 23, 1989, 10-year-old Tory and Hope made an appointment to meet in the woods. Tory was beaten so hard that she could not move forward. Hope was raped and strangled to death in the woods. Tory used her superpowers to find the body of her friend for the police. Since then, the residents of the town have been looking at her with disgust and disgusted by her superpowers. Tory's father became a murder suspect and has since been detained. Now Tory mustered up the courage to return to the town, but felt that the murderer still existed and was eyeing him. And since he came back, all the murder cases started again.
