Synopsis of The Legend of Barney Thomson

"The Legend of Barney Thomson" stars Scottish actor Robert Carlyle, who makes his directorial debut. The film tells the story of the protagonist Thomson, who accidentally killed his boss during a dispute while working in a barber shop in Glasgow, Scotland's largest city. He asked his funny and violent mother for help, and then fell into a series of manslaughter incidents. The role of the mother is played by Oscar-winning British actress Emma Thompson. She wears heavy makeup and speaks with a Glaswegian accent, which is impressive.
