Synopsis of Freeway

"Paradise" is directed by the famous director An Zhanjun and stars Yao Chen, Wu Jun, Yan Danchen and Gao Hu. It is a film specially shot by China Film Group for the 30th anniversary of reform and opening up. Since the film was only completed at the end of last year, it was unable to catch up. It was released in 2008, but this movie is basically confirmed to be officially released nationwide in April this year. In this movie, Wu Jun plays a "wage earner" who struggled in Shenzhen from the 1980s to the new century. Finally, he bought a house in Shenzhen and started a family. Yao Chen plays a girl who only wants to go to Paris and "will die in Paris". When asked about the unpronounceable title of this film, An Zhanjun explained that "Concave" sometimes means trap, and "Paradise Concave" means the opportunities and difficulties they encountered during their twenty years in Shenzhen. When she played the role of Jin Hong who was "drifting" in Shenzhen in the film, Yao Chen said that she recalled her "drifting" years in Shenzhen. There was a whole year without any filming. She also thought about changing her career. Fortunately, she was lucky. She later ushered in "Wulin Gaiden" which made her an instant hit.
