Synopsis of Eight Men Out

Based on the famous scandal in the history of American baseball, directed by John. Sayles wrote and directed, and also guest-starred as sports reporter Lin Lardner. The plot describes eight players of the Chicago White Sox who cheated on the 1919 World Cup baseball game in order to gain financial benefits. Behind the scenes, a group of gamblers manipulated the entire incident. The entire film traces the ins and outs of the scandal in a very detailed way, telling the shady story of the American football world, and adding some exciting baseball game scenes, which is very attractive to audiences who like baseball. However, as a feature film, the film lacks emotion and drama, and therefore fails to exert the shocking power of this incident. However, several protagonists, John. Cusack, Michael. Rocker, Charlie. Sheehan, David. The performances by Strathairn and others are quite exciting.
