Synopsis of The Banishing

Adapted from real events in Britain in the 1930s, a priest Linus (played by John Heffernan) was appointed as the acting pastor by the church. He took his wife Marianne (played by Jessica Brown Findlay) and their daughter Xiao Love moves into a mysterious manor. But not long after they moved into this house, strange things happened one after another. In addition to hearing murmurs in the middle of the night, they would also see strange monks. Their daughter Xiao Ai's behavior became more and more strange. As the number of times she was harassed became more and more, As time goes by, Linus and Marianne have to seek help from the famous ghost hunting expert Harry (Sean Harris).
