Synopsis of The Object of My Affection
Elementary school teacher George (played by Paul Rudd) and social worker Nina (played by Jennifer Aniston) met at a social dinner. George was shocked to learn from Nina that he had been abandoned by his gay partner, and he was very sad. However, in addition to the emotional blow, he also had to move out of the home where he lived. For a time, he had no place to live and was extremely embarrassed. The kind-hearted Nina let George stay in her apartment temporarily, and gradually, the two became good friends who talked about everything.
