Synopsis of For a Lost Soldier

Thirty years later, Jeroen, who has become a dancer, recalls the unforgettable same-sex love in his childhood because of an old photo. In 1944, Jeroen (Maarten Smit) was sent back to live in a rural town from Amsterdam by his mother. When the war ended the next year, a group of Canadian officers and soldiers were stationed in this Dutch town, and Jeroen met one of the handsome and handsome officers. Unlike other officers, this officer was particularly fond of Jeroen. Then they had a wonderful time and a wonderful love happened between them. However, when Jeroen was still immersed in the romance and joy of love, the army withdrew, and the hut where they spent time together had become empty...
