Synopsis of The Chestnut Man

Chestnut Man is set in the quiet suburbs of Copenhagen. On a blustery October morning, the police make a horrific discovery. A young woman is brutally murdered in a playground and one of her hands is missing. Next to her was a small figure made of chestnuts. The ambitious young detective Naya Turin (Danika Kursic) and her new partner Mark Hess (Mikkel Folsgaard) were ordered to investigate the case. They soon discover mysterious evidence about the Chestnut Man, which is related to a girl who disappeared and was presumed dead a year ago: the daughter of politician Rosa Hartung (Eben Dorner).
