Synopsis of Too Close

Adapted from the novel of the same name published by Clara Salaman under the pen name Natalie Daniels, this 3-episode drama is written by Clara Salaman and directed by "Doctor Foster" director Bruce Goodison. The play tells the story of Emma Robinson (Emily Watson), a forensic psychiatrist (who studies whether she was in a sane state at the time of a crime), who is assigned to contact Connie, who is facing trial. This woman committed a heinous crime, but she claims that she was responsible for it. With no memory, Emma tries to understand the complicated relationship between her and her best friend Ness, especially the fact that Ness may have been the reason why Connie committed the crime. However, in the process of the heroine uncovering the truth, the keen Connie noticed Emma's uneasiness and took advantage of it. Therefore, in this psychological game, Emma may embark on the path of self-destruction for the sake of justice.
