Synopsis of The X-Files Season 2

After the X-files closed, Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) were separated. Mulder was ordered to perform surveillance work, while Scully returned to the academy to study. One day, Congressman Mattson (played by Raymond J. Barry) revealed a piece of news to Mulder, saying that he had received a message from aliens in Puerto Rico. In order to find evidence of aliens before the special forces, Mulder went alone. After learning the news, Scully rushed to Mulder's residence, found clues from the passenger list in the computer, and followed him to Puerto Rico. In Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Mulder encounters a local and gets an alien painting from him. But the man died mysteriously not long after. Will Mulder finally find evidence of alien visitations?
