Synopsis of Flee

Ami, who is of Afghan origin, has taken root in Denmark and is about to get married to a same-sex partner. Facing the happiness that is within reach, there is an intractable knot in my heart. The painful memories of childhood still linger after I grow up. As a child, he was infatuated with Jean-Claude Van Damme, but he was born into troubled times, and the peaceful life in his hometown was destroyed by the war. He fled to Moscow with his family, and then smuggled to Copenhagen through all kinds of hardships. Recording real-life events in the form of animation, the director asked his friend Ami to share his secrets, recalling the days of wandering and the corrupt police officers and cold-blooded smugglers he encountered.
