Synopsis of Get Shorty Season 2
In the second season, Miles Daly continues to find a balance in three different lifestyles: he wants to be a real and successful filmmaker, and he wants to be a good man with a commitment to his family. Wants to maintain his identity as a career criminal. All Miles' progress in Hollywood is jeopardized when his partner, washed-up filmmaker Rick, agrees to wear a wiretap and act as an FBI informant. Rick also realizes that sleeping with the female drug lord Amara on the one hand and cooperating with the federal agents trying to arrest her on the other hand will not lead to anything good. At the same time, Miles faces challenges from a criminal gang's money laundering expert and a Hollywood power broker who is the most dangerous and difficult opponent he has ever encountered. Miles and Rick’s film “The Admiral’s Mistress” (The Admiral’s Mistress) will complete the director’s cut and meet the audience in 2×02.
