Synopsis of Cloud 9
Disney Channel's first original movie in 2014, Cloud9, tells an inspiring story about snowboarding. Kayla (Dove Cameron), the daughter of a ski resort owner, always thought she was the best female snowboarder in the area. It wasn't until an accident that she discovered that all this was just an "illusion" created for her by her father's use of power. Kayla got acquainted with Will (Luke Benward), a pet dog caregiver at the resort, and learned that he was a rising star who was once famous in the snowboarding world. He accidentally tried his original move "Cloud Nine" in a competition. Fell, seriously injured and retired from the game. Kayla hopes to win real respect through her own efforts, and through her efforts, she can impress Will and teach her to contact the movement that no one has completed; and Will also rediscovers his confidence and love for this sport through the interaction between the two.
