Synopsis of Three and Out
The skinny, tired-looking Paul Kellow (Mackenzie Crook) is a driver of the London Subway. He is gradually getting tired of this boring job and always dreams of one day fulfilling his writing dream. Life has become boring, and misfortune is lingering. The train he was driving encountered two crashes in one month. Frustrated Paul accidentally heard a hidden rule from his colleagues. As long as a driver hits three people within a month, he will be fired, but he will be compensated with ten years of salary. During this period, Paul fell in love with a cabin in the mountains of Scotland, and he fell into a painful inner struggle. Rather than continue to endure this hopeless life, it is better to pursue your dreams wholeheartedly. Using a week off, Paul sets out to find the next person to attempt suicide... The film won the Best Actress (Imelda Staunton) and Best Picture Awards at the 2009 California Independent Film Festival.
