Synopsis of 12.12: The Day

On December 12, 1979, a military rebellion broke out in Seoul, the capital. That day, the fate of the Republic of Korea was rewritten. Since October 26, which shocked the Republic of Korea, the new wind blowing in Seoul is only temporary. On December 12, security commander Quan Douguang launched a rebellion. He mobilized private organizations within the military and even summoned frontline troops to Seoul.
