Synopsis of Just Getting Started

The Palm Springs Hotel is known as the "Senior Paradise", where people enjoy a carefree retirement life. For the travelers staying there, every day feels like Christmas, thanks to Duke (played by Morgan Freeman), the hotel manager with a mysterious past. Duke can be said to be the core figure of the Palm Springs Hotel. His job is to ensure that all guests have a good time and a happy stay. However, when the cool and handsome cowboy Leo (played by Tommy Lee Jones) checks into the hotel, Duke's status as the number one brother is immediately threatened. In order to win the favor of the mysterious beauty Susie (played by Rene Russo), they start to be jealous and fight openly and secretly. At this moment, Duke's past enemies also come to the door and take Duke's life. The unknown past between Duke and Leo is also revealed. In order to protect this paradise for the elderly they love, the two decided to turn enemies into friends and fight off the killer together...
