Synopsis of Green Book

Tony (Viggo Mortensen) is an idle gangster who works as a waiter in a nightclub. This nightclub will be closed for a few months for some reason, but the rent and living expenses that Tony has to pay will not be canceled, so his first priority is to find another job to fill the vacancy in these few months. At this juncture, a black pianist named Tang Shirley (Mahershala Ali) offers to hire Tony. Shirley Tang was about to start an eight-week tour south. However, discrimination against blacks in the South was very serious at that time, so Tony became Shirley Tang's driver and bodyguard. Along the way, the two people's different personalities caused many conflicts between them. At the same time, the various unfair treatments Tang Shirley suffered in the south also made Tony feel deeply abhorred by racial discrimination.
