Synopsis of Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant
Darren Shan (played by Chris Massoglia) is a high school student with excellent academic performance and youthful sunshine. He is very popular in school and has a happy family, so he is called "Mr. Perfect" by his friends. One day, a leaflet changed the direction of his life. A bizarre circus that includes all kinds of weird things comes to his town. Although his parents and teachers prohibit it, Darren still secretly goes to watch it with his vampire-obsessed friend Steve (Josh Hutcherson). The two boys were excited by the unheard of strange and strange things, and the appearance of vampire Raden Kressley (played by John C. Reilly) and his poisonous spider touched them deeply.
