Synopsis of The Chaperone
"Downton Abbey" screenwriter Julian Fellowes, actor Elizabeth McGovern and director Michael Engler have confirmed their collaboration on the new film "The Chaperone" (tentative translation). The story tells that in New York in the 1920s, a woman (played by Elizabeth McGovern) trained a 15-year-old girl (played by Julia Goodeny Taylor) who was learning to dance to become a star. The film will seek international buyers at the Cannes Film Festival.
