Synopsis of Hand of God Season 1

The protagonist Pernell Harris (Ron Perlman) is a very powerful judge who often does things that violate the law. He is married but in a passionate relationship with a high-end call girl. After a nervous breakdown, he suddenly began to see visions and heard his son PJ, who had fallen into a coma after a failed suicide attempt, speak. He became religious like a sudden "awakening," believing that God was communicating with him through his son. From that moment on, he was determined to be a "chivalrous man" and would never give up until he caught the rapist who tore his family apart. He didn't have any actual evidence at hand, so he relied mostly on visions and messages from God through his Son for clues.
