Synopsis of Unbowed

Kim Kyung-ho (played by Ahn Sung-ki) was originally a mathematics professor at a university, but he was indirectly suspended from his job because he bluntly pointed out an erroneous question in the university entrance exam. For this reason, Jin Qinghao appealed many times, hoping to restore his position and reputation, but failed repeatedly. Kim Kyung-ho became disheartened and left South Korea, conducting academic research overseas until he returned to Korea in 2006. He once again filed a lawsuit with the South Korean High Court, asking the school to reinstate his professional title, but he lost the case. At this time, Jin Qinghao was in an extremely angry state. Losing his mind, he lurked in the corridor of the apartment of the judge presiding over the case, preparing to attack the judge with a stone bow. The judge was injured and hospitalized, and Kim Kyung-ho was arrested. With media attention, the incident was elevated to a "judicial terrorist attack." But Jin Jinghao refused to admit to all the accusations. As he fought hard, the "crossbow injury incident" became increasingly confusing... The movie "Broken Arrow" is adapted from the "Crossbow Incident" that caused a sensation in South Korea in 2007.
