Synopsis of papika

In Algeria in the 1990s, Najma, an 18-year-old female college student, was passionate about fashion design. She did not want the Algerian civil war to affect her normal life. During the day, she was an ordinary student advocating freedom and equality, and at night she went out with her best friends to have fun. But as the social atmosphere became more and more conservative, she refused to accept the new ban imposed by the country's radicals. After experiencing a tragedy, she decided to fight for the various inequalities in the country and held the first fashion exhibition in Algeria's history.
