Synopsis of Nanny McPhee Returns

During the war-torn years, a farm in the British countryside maintained a peaceful scenery. Mrs. Green (Maggie Gyllenhaal) runs the family farm alone, waiting for her husband to return from serving in the military. The farm and the three naughty and mischievous children at home trouble her, and her prodigal relative Phil (Rhys Ifans) comes to bother her from time to time. It turns out that Phil himself owed gambling debts and tried to use the Green family farm to pay off the debts. He was repeatedly rejected but still persisted in his evil intentions. What makes Mrs. Green even more troublesome is that her nephews and nieces have to come from the city to live in the country to avoid the war. The pampered cousins were incompatible with the three Green children. As soon as they met, a family fracas broke out. The situation was out of control and Mrs. Green almost collapsed. The magical nanny McPhee (Emma Thompson) appeared in front of Mrs. Green at the right time. She used her magic to quickly end the melee, and she stayed at Green's house to teach the children.
