Synopsis of Blade Runner: Black Out 2022
The animation is set in 2022 between the two films "Blade Runner" and "Blade Runner 2049". An unexplained large-scale power outage occurred on the West Coast of the United States, and the food supply was in crisis. The whole world is blaming the blackout because of the clones, so the law prohibits the creation of clones. The scientist Wallace (played by Jared Leto in the movie) who appeared to save the world from crisis developed a new ecosystem to solve the food problem and began to research new types of replication.
