Mark Felt is the former deputy director of the FBI. During the Watergate scandal, the largest political scandal in the United States in the 20th century, he disclosed information that was unfavorable to President Nixon to a reporter from the Washington Post, which led to Nixon's resignation. He did not reveal his identity at the time, but used the title of a popular pornographic movie as his code name, which was "Deep Throat." It wasn't until 2005 that Mark Felt admitted that he was "Deep Throat."
