Synopsis of Timeline

The old professor Edward Johnston (played by Billy Connolly) is a historian dedicated to medieval archaeology, and excavating the Laroque Castle left over from the 14th century has always been his lifelong wish. However, until today, Robert (David Thewlis), the president of an international technology company, was willing to invest in the project, and Jost's wish finally came true. He immediately set up an archaeological organization with his son Chris (Paul Walker). The group is preparing to go to France to explore the ancient battlefield. However, during an ordinary excavation, members of the archaeological team discovered a distress note from 1357, signed by Professor Johnston. The professor's glasses were also found nearby, but it was more than 600 years ago. The puzzled team members found the investor Robert, only to learn that the ambitious Robert had secretly invented a time machine that could send people back to 1357 through a wormhole. Faced with this terrifying and magical tool, Chris decided to lead the members back to the Middle Ages to save his father. However, none of them could predict that in the wormhole...
