Synopsis of free tango
In the final chapter of Belgian director Frederic Fonten's love trilogy ("The Affair," "Jill's Wife"), a shy and sensitive prison guard learns tango to relieve his boredom, and his charming new dance partner Alice suddenly breaks into his Life. Just as love was in his heart, the prison guard discovered that there was an emotional connection between Alice and the two prisoners in his care that was constantly being cut and confused. This is a humble and romantic black comedy. Like the tango dance steps, the tone of the film fluctuates between the calmness of reality and the intensity of passion. The film won the Special Jury Award for the Horizon Section at the 2012 Venice International Film Festival and Best Film at Warsaw Film Festival.
