Synopsis of Yes Man

Although thirty-year-old Carl Allen (Jim Carrey) has no worries about food and clothing, his life can be described as a complete failure. He divorced his wife three years ago and has been living a single life. He works in a bank, but he's basically just waiting to die, with no hope of promotion. In life, he refuses to interact with others, preferring to stay at home and watch movies. His whole life seems to be shrouded in a thick gray fog. At the suggestion of a friend, Carl consulted with an institution called "Mr. Nice Guy". Under the guidance of his mentor Terence Stampstamp, he tried to solve every problem in his life. Answer in the affirmative. This small change turned Carl's life upside down. Honor, money, opportunities, and love followed one after another. Just when he was full of confidence, he discovered that life was not as simple as he thought... The film was adapted from the autobiography of the same name by British comedian and writer Danny Wallace, and won the 2009 MTV Best Comedy Performance Award (Jim Carrey).
