Synopsis of Phantomschmerz
Mark (played by Till Schweiger in "Rabbit Without Ears") is a famous and romantic cyclist, but he lost a leg in an accidental car accident, so he had to start changing himself to face the next test of life. Cycling, alcohol, and one-night stands are everything in Mark's life. He doesn't want a stable emotional life, and he doesn't care about any ideals or realizations. He just wants a moment of happiness. Even if he loses a leg, he still doesn't change his cynical and stubborn style, which hurts his true self. His beloved woman, until he finally realized that all the injustices in life would be healed by love. Till Schweiger, the German character actor in "The Bad Guy", gave a natural and affectionate performance as an arrogant and lonely soul with low self-esteem in the film, which was sincere, profound and moving.
