Synopsis of Charade
An American young woman, Ricky Lambert (played by Audrey Hepburn), encounters a man who calls himself Pete Joshua (played by Gary Grant) at the Megève ski resort in France. Riki returns to Paris and finds that her home has been ransacked and her husband, Charles, has been murdered. Ricky was summoned by the US Embassy and met CIA agent Hamilton (Walter Matthau), only to discover that the three strange people who appeared at Charles's funeral were his companions who embezzled gold during World War II: Tex (James) • James Coburn (played by James Coburn), Herman (played by George Kennedy) and Leopold (played by Ned Glass). Hamilton asked Rikki to help the government find the missing gold, and the three weirdos also pursued Rikki. In the critical moment, Pete suddenly appeared to save the beauty.
