Synopsis of The Door

Jiang Zhongtian (played by Chen Kun) is experiencing a low ebb in his life. Facing his boss and classmate Hong Yuan (played by Huang Jue), he seemed extremely unconfident and distrustful of him. She always thinks that he is having an affair with his childhood sweetheart Wenxin (played by Yang Mi). The sudden appearance of his middle school classmate Li Zuowen made him even more dizzy. Li Zuowen was an uneducated person and became a taxi driver today. He always appeared in front of Zhongtian. Zhongtian always remembered that Li Zuowen tried to rape him. Wenxin's attempt failed, and there was always a shadow in her heart. His distrust of himself reflected on Wenxin, and she began to be suspicious. Finally, Wenxin couldn't bear it anymore, so she left a message and ran away. Jiang Zhongtian immersed himself in painting the walls and decorating every day. Under the hallucination, he killed Hong Yuan, but Hong Yuan's soul still haunted him. He began to suspect that the police had sent people to monitor him. He thought that every neighbor and every passerby who came to his door had a purpose. While he was pursuing Wenxin's whereabouts, he was getting closer to the truth. However, when the door to the truth opened, he found that everything had been an irreparable mistake.
