Synopsis of Yardie

British crime drama film directed by Idris Elba and based on the novel of the same name by Jamaican-born writer Victor Headley. The film focuses on Jamaicans and their life in London. In the 1970s and 1980s, a black Jamaican youth named D grew up in a neighborhood full of shootings and drug sales. He was deeply hurt by the shooting of his brother since childhood. Just when D was about to leave the criminal life because of his music, he met the man who killed his brother, which led to him getting into trouble with Rico, a gang leader in London who did all kinds of evil...
